With a foundational degree in Ayurveda medicine and subsequent academic achievements including a Master’s in Public Health from RGUHS and a PG Diploma in Health and Family Welfare from the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, my career has been a blend of traditional healing practices and modern public health expertise.
Over the past eight years, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching public health and imparting knowledge to future generations of health professionals. My experience extends beyond the classroom, with active participation in various research activities at the organizational level. These endeavors have enriched my understanding of public health challenges and equipped me with practical insights for addressing them effectively.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, I’ve honed practical skills essential for public health practice. Proficient in data analysis, I’m trained in using R and SPSS software, enabling me to analyze complex health data and derive meaningful insights to inform evidence-based interventions.
My commitment to continuous learning is evident through participation in training programs, including faculty training programs from RGUHS. These opportunities have not only enhanced my teaching capabilities but have also equipped me with the skills to mentor and support fellow educators in delivering quality public health education.
As a practitioner of Ayurveda, I bring a holistic perspective to public health, emphasizing the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and environmental well-being. This integrative approach informs my teaching, research, and practice, fostering a comprehensive understanding of health and disease.
In summary, my journey from Ayurveda medicine to public health has been guided by a passion for improving population health outcomes. With a solid foundation in both traditional and modern health practices, coupled with teaching experience, research acumen, and technical skills, I am committed to making meaningful contributions to the field of public health, driven by a dedication to promoting health equity and well-being for all.
